T: Do you like the song?
Ss:Yes.
T:Do you like New Year’s Day?
I like New Year’s Day, too. And I like Chinese New Year’s Day best.It is the most important holiday in China. Today we are going to learn sth. about Chinese New Year. Please read after me: Unit8 Chinese New Year. We also call it Spring Festival.

2.T:Well done, boys and girls .We can do so many things at Chinese New Year. When’s Chinese New Year’s Day this year?
Ss:It’s on the first of January.
课件出示日历,借助日历教授Chinese New Year’s Day/Chinese New Year’s Eve/Before Chinese New Year/on the second day of Chinese New Year。

Su Hai gets an e-mail from her e-friend Anna in Hong Kong.
5.How to write an email?
渗透写邮件的格式, 将课本后的tips 给学生看,然后讲解
Anna writes to Su Hai, so here, she write Su Hai, and she wants to tell Su Hai about her Chinese New Year. So the subject is Chinese New Year.
Then you write the text.
At the beginning , you should write dear xx.
At the end of the text, you should write Love, and your name.

《Unit eight Chinese New Year》教学反思:
在本次“Chinese New Year”教学中,我通过多种方式引导学生了解春节文化与相关知识。从课堂效果看,学生对春节的传统习俗表现出浓厚兴趣,在讨论和分享环节积极参与,能够用英语介绍春节的一些基本信息,如吃年夜饭、放鞭炮等,达到了一定的教学目标。
然而,教学过程中也存在一些不足之处。在文化内涵的深入挖掘上不够到位,仅停留在表面习俗的讲解,未能充分引导学生理解春节背后所承载的家庭观念、团圆意义等深层次文化价值,使学生对文化的感悟略显浅薄。同时,在教学活动设计上,小组活动的组织略显混乱,部分学生参与度不均衡,一些性格内向的学生没有充分发挥,影响了整体教学效果。
