Step 1 Warming up

2.T: Yesterday, we talked about our plans roe the weekend.

You can ask Miss Tang.
S: Miss Tang, what are you going to do this weekend?
T: I’m going to surf the Internet, I’m going to have a chat with my net friends.
Step 2 Presentation
1. T: Miss Tang has some net friends, I also have some penfriends.
Teach “penfriend”
T: How do make a penfriend?
Teach “ a letter”

6B Unit 7 A letter to a penfriend 是围绕“写信”这一主题,从谈论自己的笔友入手到着手给笔友回信,把有关“自我介绍”、“询问他人情况”、“征求意见”等日常交际用语、词汇和句型有机地结合起来,并运用于对话和课文之中。这堂课是本单元的第一课时,语篇的教学。这篇课文的内容比较简单,在新授之前,我利用网友引出笔友,并引申出写信所需的东西,进行信封和信纸的教学,基本就已经解决了课文中的生词。然后让学生整体感知课文,带着问题听课文,带着问题读课文,学生学习起来精力比较集中。总的来说这堂课上得只能以顺手来概括,谈不上精彩。
由于备课还不是很充分,因此这堂课还有很多值得推敲的地方,如:设计刘涛给Peter回信的环节,本意是让学生先找课文里的内容回答,然后在生成自己如果是刘涛,会写些什么,课时上课时却反了。还有最后一个环节,其实可以不上了,可以在第二课时时加强巩固与练习,在第一课时上给人以突然的感觉。希望在以后的教学中能引起重视,进行改正。
