四、教学过程
Step 1 Warming up
1.Free talk
2.T: Yesterday, we talked about our plans roe the weekend.
xxx, what are you going to do this weekend?
S: I’m going to ….
3.T: Do you want to know what is Miss Tang going to do this weekend?
You can ask Miss Tang.
S: Miss Tang, what are you going to do this weekend?
T: I’m going to surf the Internet, I’m going to have a chat with my net friends.
Step 2 Presentation
1. T: Miss Tang has some net friends, I also have some penfriends.
Teach “penfriend”
T: How do make a penfriend?
Teach “ a letter”
T: 揭题，today，we’ll learn a new Unit .

S: a pen, some stamps, some writing paper and an envelope.
Teach: writing paper means 信纸

6B Unit 7 A letter to a penfriend 是围绕“写信”这一主题，从谈论自己的笔友入手到着手给笔友回信，把有关“自我介绍”、“询问他人情况”、“征求意见”等日常交际用语、词汇和句型有机地结合起来，并运用于对话和课文之中。这堂课是本单元的第一课时，语篇的教学。这篇课文的内容比较简单，在新授之前，我利用网友引出笔友，并引申出写信所需的东西，进行信封和信纸的教学，基本就已经解决了课文中的生词。然后让学生整体感知课文，带着问题听课文，带着问题读课文，学生学习起来精力比较集中。总的来说这堂课上得只能以顺手来概括，谈不上精彩。
由于备课还不是很充分，因此这堂课还有很多值得推敲的地方，如：设计刘涛给Peter回信的环节，本意是让学生先找课文里的内容回答，然后在生成自己如果是刘涛，会写些什么，课时上课时却反了。还有最后一个环节，其实可以不上了，可以在第二课时时加强巩固与练习，在第一课时上给人以突然的感觉。希望在以后的教学中能引起重视，进行改正。
