分七个步骤来读绘本。

1. 读封面，预测绘本内容，开拓学生的思维。

2. 听背景录音，在常规听力中进一步培养学生听的能力，并评价两个动物的性格，和开头的评价以及下面的评价相呼应。

3. 分图解决两个动物想了什么主意，想要怎么欺骗对方。通过学生参与表演来感受绘本内容。

4. 学生小组读两个动物分别是怎么做的。小组合作表演体现协作和团队精神。

5. 讨论猜想最后的结果如何，层层递进，一步一步引导学生读绘本，培养其英语自主思维能力。

6. 跟读录音，再次感受整个绘本。

7. 分四幕表演绘本。让学生自由选择表演，降低难度，并发挥学生的想象力和主观能动性，并整合以前学过的知识，无限激活学生的思维，给学生一个语言输出的阶段，展示成果的阶段。
