一、教学目标:

1、认知目标:能熟练运用文具单词和方位词以及相关句型,能听懂、理解、朗读故事。  

2、能力目标:提高学生的阅读理解、独立思维能力。  

3、情感目标:培养学生自主学习的精神,并且在小组活动中学会合作。

二、教学重难点:

1、学生理解故事的幽默之处

2、学生掌握一些绘本阅读的策略           

三、教学过程:

Step1 Warm up

1.Greetings

2.Free talk

Step2 Pre-reading

1. What’s in the forest?(PPt出示森林图片)

T:Yes. There are some plants, insects, animals in the forest. And life in the forest is colourful. Today we will know a new friend in the forest.

2. A riddle:

T: It’s a riddle. Guess:what is it?(播放谜语录音,教读Snail)

3.Enjoy some pictures about snail.

Step3 While reading

1. 带着问题和好奇进入故事

Q1:What’s the snail‘s dream?

Q2:Can the snail reach the top?

2. 根据图片和录音感知故事

Who does the snail meet on the way to his dream?

3. 带着好奇和问题理解内容

What do they think of the snail's dream?

What does the snail say?

T:Let’s say it together.

4. Listen and read

Task 1: Read and circle 快速阅读第二幅图,圈出文中的生词。

Task 2: Read find and write

小组互帮互助学习新单词,读准字音、并理解新单词的意思。选择2个你喜欢的写在记录卡上。

Task 3:Read and act 小组一起读,并表演。

5.Think and discuss

If you were Mr Snail, what would you say to the monkey, the parrot and the giraffe after you climb to the top of the tree? 如果你是蜗牛先生,当你爬到树顶时,你会对猴子、鹦鹉和长颈鹿说些什么呢?

Step4 Post-reading

1.带着理解和感情讲述故事(Retell the story)

2.Let’s discuss:

Why the little snail can make his dream come true?

Never give up ! 永不放弃!

3.Summary: What can you learn from this story?

Step5 Homework

1. Read the story by yourself again.

2. Share the story with your parents and friends.

教学反思:

本课是一篇英语课外阅读,适合于五年级的学生,英语课外阅读教学的目的有别于课内阅读教学,目的在于让学生运用阅读技巧,能借助图片等工具理解读通小故事,进而从故事中了解一定的道理,旨在培养学生的阅读素养,提高学生的阅读兴趣,提升学生的阅读能力。
