Step 1 Free talk

1. Greetings and free talk

15: 15 years ago, I was a student.   Now, I am an English teacher. I work in Ligongpu Primary School.

10: (Give you a picture, you can   guess) 10 years ago, my daughter came to this world. Now, she is a primary   school student.

5: First, Ss guess. Then, teacher   show: 13 years ago, I couldnt drive.

Now, I am good at driving.

Today the topic is “Then and now”.

This is now, which is then?

Who was in the story?

3.    Listen   and find about “Then”

4.    Read   and find about “What”.

What are differences between their then and now?自读课文,圈出文中相关信息。

(1) What are the changes for Mike?

Pay attention to the word “but”, They   are different, could, couldn’t.--It’s the changes in abilities.

Many-- What can Mike do now?

What changes in abilities do you have?

______ years ago, I could / couldn’t   _____.

Now, I can __________.

For Mike, it talks about changes in   abilities.

(2) How about Mr. Brown? What are the   changes?

(3) What are the changes for Grandpa?

What do you think of grandpa?

If we can’t change things around us,   change ourselves in time.

For Grandpa, it talks about “Changes   in the way to get news”.

反思:

       我围绕变化展开教学的。授课过程中,我首先出示自己变化图片,通过句型...ago....

.Now....引出本课所学句型,引出过去时间状语,再用twenty years ago 替换,从

而教学本节课要求掌握的时间短语。其操练句型时,我利用现貌和过去的变化作比

较,让学生利用本节课的句型操练对话。同时小组交流完后,让学生写一写句子。

在扩展练习中,我由人物变化,引出学生自己的变化,在通过学习歌曲了解自己的变化

有哪些。最后,师生共同小结本节课所学的内容。

       这节课,我认为最成功的地方就是学生能够很好的认读单词,单词发音准

确。利用歌谣学单词的效果很好,同时又提高的课堂学习气氛。用人物现貌和

过去对比学习句型时,学生掌握的很好,都能准确地表达出来。在写句型时,学

生的单词书写工整,句子格式掌握正确。

不足之处是:

1、上课紧张,有的句子说错了。

2、课件没有提前演示一遍,播放时课件出错。

3、学完单词后,应该及时让学生听音、跟读。我在讲课时,把这部分环节

放在学完了短语后再放听力。
