一、教学目标

1.能通过观察图片信息，语境中听、读、拼写 poor, kind, helpful, friendly等核心词汇，掌握其音、形、义。

2.能通过跟读模仿等形式，在语境中正确运用Elephant is very kind and helpful等所学陈述句进行描述。

3.能借助Story map，感知和理解故事大意，学会梳理概括事情发生的起因，经过和结果，并复述故事。

4.能通过角色仿演等形式，分析与评价故事中出现的角色。

1. Free talk: Do you like animals? What animal do you like best? Why?

2. Riddle

Step 2 While- reading

1. Cover reading: What can you see on the cover?

2. How do they cross the river? Read P4-5

3. Can they cross the river together(一起)? Let's read P6-10.

4. What do you think of Monkey/Tiger/Giraffe/Elephant?

5. Act and say. 演一演，说一说

6. Listen and read: What do Tortoise friends do? Listen and read P11-15

7. Detailed reading: How do they make the bridge?

8. Reading time: Let's listen to the story and read together.
