Step 1 Warm up 

T: Lets enjoy a video, Tell me: Whats this song about?

播放视频,引导学生回答问题。

S: A house

T: Yes, the dog built a new house.  That is his new home. Teach home

 

Step 2 Presentation

1. Present the title

T: Look at this new house. How is this new house?

S: big...nice....clean...

T: Yes. Whose home is it? Lets listen.

(电脑呈现问题,一边出苏海苏阳的照片一边听声音介绍,呈现课题)

C(电脑声音): Hello, we are Su Hai and Su Yang. This is our new home.

Present the title  Unit 5 Our new home

 

2. Learn the new words of the rooms

(1) Learn: bedroom, bathroom

T: In their home, there are some rooms, lets have a look.

T:Lookin this room, we can see a bed, and we often sleep in this room. This is a bedroom.   Teach bedroom(呈现单词   bed + room = bedroom

教师可以在教学单词中间随机提问:

How many bedrooms do you have in your home?

Do you have a beautiful bedroom?

Use the same way to teach   bath + room = bathroom

Learning tips:两个或以上的单词组成的新单词叫做合成词。

(2) Learn: kitchen, fridge

T: Lookthis is a fridge.  Teach fridge

T: Where is the fridge?  Can you guess:

Su Hai 话语: Riddle: The fridge is in a big room, and we can cook a lot of nice food in this room.

S: ...

T: Yes. The fridge is in the kitchen.  Present kitchen

 A: Where is the fridge?   B: Its  the  男女生分组对话,问答)

T:LookWhat are these? 

S:...

T: Yes, they are sofas. Teach sofa-sofas

 T: Where are the sofas?  Can you guess:

Su Yang话语: Riddle: The sofas in a big room, and we usually sit on the sofas and watch TV in this room. 

S: ...

T: Yes. This is a living room. 

Present kitchen

(呈现对话:  A: Where are the sofas?   B:Theyre   the  男女生分组对话,问答)

 

Watch and finish the sentences

T: Today, Su Hai and Su Yang move to the new home. But they are busy now. They cant find their things. What are they looking for?

Su Hai is looking for(寻找) her

Su Yang is looking for her

(看卡通,填空)

 

Read and match.

T: Where are the things? Lets read the dialogue and match 

learning tips: 

1 read the dialogue and find the answer quietlyunderline the key sentences.

2 Work in two. Use the sentences to check the answers.

A: Wheres/ Where are

B: Its/ Theyre

(独立阅读寻找答案,并同桌运用新句型交流来核对答案并汇报,完成电脑上的连线)

 

5 Read the picture 3&4 in details

(呈现第三幅图)

T: At first, Su Hai and Su Yang dont know where the cap is. How do they talk? Can  you read?

S: ...

(呈现第四幅图)

T: But LookSu Hai finds it in the kitchen. Who takes it?

S: The dog.

T: Yes. How does Su Yang feel?  

S: Happy, excited, surprised....

Try to read Come and look, Su Yang. Your cap is in the kitchen! with emotion.

 

6 Imagine

Su Hai and Su Yang want to get the cap back. What will they say to the dog?

(要求呈现在电脑上,训练学生的发散性思维)

想要回帽子,她会对小狗说什么呢?

Step 3 Consolidation

T: Su Hai and Su Yang have a big house. They have some other rooms.  

(在一个大房子中呈现两个卧室,卫生间,餐厅, 客厅、书房)

T:What other rooms do they have?

Learn: study,  dining room

T:And there are a lot of things in different rooms. Su Hai and Su Yang want to find their school bags, dolls and Su Hais skirt. Can you help them?

(书包放在餐厅的地上,洋娃娃放在房间的客厅的沙发方便,裙子放在床上。引导学生观察图片,编对话)

B: Its/ Theyre

 

Step 4 Homework.

1. Listen and read the story, try to recite it.

2. Preview Fun time and Cartoon time.
