Step 1 Pre-reading
T: Look at these pictures, do you know what holiday is it?

T: Yes, it is. And we know, Children’s Day is coming soon. What are you going to do on that day?

T: You are going to do so many things. And look, I’m going to have a party with my friends.

PPT出示a party.

 

Ss: Its Childrens Day.

S1: I’m going to buy some food.

S2: Im going to have a big dinner with my family.

 

 

 

 

建议用视频或图片导入,让学生get到Children’s Day的到来,学生的兴致一下就提高了。

 

 

 

 

 

Step 2 While-reading
1.Watch and match

T: These are our friends. What are they going to do for the party? Lets watch a cartoon and try to match.

播放动画,连线。并核对答案。

2. Lets say

结合每个人物,谈谈他们各自的计划。

T: Look at Su Hai. Try to talk about her plans.

3. Lets read

Read Paragraph 1.

4 Listen and order

T: Now please listen to the story on P49, and then order for the pictures.

播放音频,核对答案。

T: Now lets focus on each of the pictures.Picture1, who can read?

T: Does Liu Tao go to the party? Where is he? Please read Paragraph 2 and underline the key sentences.

T: Good. Look! This is a clown. Teach clown.

T: Look at the last picture. The children want to have some food first, yes or no? Please read Paragraph 4 and judge.

T: Here are some more exercises. Lets work in pairs and work them out.

 

Ss:watch a cartoon and try to match.

S1: Su Hai is going to buy some snacks and drinks. Teach snacks and drinks.

S2: Wang Bing is going to bring some fruit.

S3: Yang Ling is going to bring some toys and play with her friends

S: Liu Tao is the clown.

Ss read Paragraph 3. Teach appear and balloon.

S: Its F. They want to have some fun first.

Ss read the paragraph. Teach begin

 

建议 Let’s say、Let’s read和Listen and order这三个板块进行整合,用表格的形式让学生以小组为单位汇报每个任务的计划,培养他们的自主阅读能力。

 

 

 

Step 3 Post-reading

T: Now you can choose one or more pictures to act. Work in your groups. Go!

 


建议这个巩固板块用写的方式来呈现,学生的记忆力会更深。

教学感悟

在故事板块教学中,我重在对文本的整体感知,围绕Childrens Days party这一主线层层展开,力图通过多样的教学活动成分激活学生的思维。因此在教学中我注意语言学习与语用能力相结合,为学生操练语言搭建语言支架和真实交流的平台,使他们在轻松的氛围中快速投入到学习环境中去。
