1)四会掌握节日的英语表达New Year’s Day, Children’s Day, Halloween,Easter, May Day, National Day ,Spring Festival,Mid-Autumn Festival
2)四会掌握句型When’s …? It’s in … 和What do people usually do at …? They usually …并能根据实际情况正确熟练地运用句型
3)了解中西方的一些节日,并能知道不同国家和地区对于节日不同的庆祝方式

A Warming-up
1) Sing a song:< Happy New Year>
2) Free talk:
what does this sign mean?
(拿出图片)Well, what does this sign mean? ( Be quiet )
(事先准备)What does that sign mean? ( No smoking )
What day is it today? What date is it today?
When’s your birthday?
What would you like as a birthday present?
T: Many students like Saturday and Sunday. Because we can play games、read books, we can do something we like, we
don’t need to go to school. They are holidays.
To teach the word: holiday
T: Do you like holidays?
Ss: Yes!
T: Me too. Today let’s learn some holidays. (板书课题)
B Presentation and practice
1 课前安排学生预习有关节日的单词,为学习新课作铺垫。
