Unit7 At weekends(Story time)

一、教学目标:

知识目标:

1.能听懂、会读、会说单词、词组at weekends/chat on the Internet/go to the cinema/fly a kite/have a picnic/visit grandparents

2.听懂理解adverbs of frequencyalways/usually/often/sometimes)间差异

能力目标:

1. 能听懂、会读、会说句型What do you do at weekends?

I always/usually/often/sometimes…at weekends.

What does he/she do at weekends?

He/She always/usually/often/sometimes…at  weekends.

2.能正确的理解并朗读课文,在教师的引导和帮助下尝试复述课文内容。

情感目标:让学生认识到周末要过得有意义。

二、教学重点:

1.能理解和正确朗读课文,达到语音语调正确并在教师的引导和帮助下尝试复述课文内容。

  1. Just in the video, these are my weekends, do you want to ask any questions about me? Yes, I always ...usually...often...sometimes...引出频率副词,新授单词chat on the Internet

  2. I can do many things at weekends.what do you think of Miss Tangs weekends? So what do you do at weekends? 引出what do you do at weekends?

    Step2. While -reading

    1. Read and answer

    T: What does Mike do at weekends? Let’s read the passage.

    引出visit grandparents.

    2.Read and retell

    If you are Mike ,can you introduce your weekends?

    What does Mike do at weekends?

    3.discuss and draw

    What about SuHai, SuYang and Helens weekends?

课后反思:

本节课重点是能初步运用本课所学的词汇和句型谈论周末活动。教学难点是能运用本单元所学的词汇和句型谈论周末活动,并能自己尝试用第三者角度描述他人周末活动。阅读课文时,我让学生在文中划出Mike,Helen和the twins在周末所做的事情的句子。读的部分我采用了跟读,分男女角色读,全班齐读等方式进行。读后我让学生进行句型操练并尝试用第三者的角度描述书中人物的周末活动来进行巩固。不足之处及改进方法:学生句型操练环节容易把What do you do at weekends?和What do you like doing at weekends?混淆,可以引导学生,例:He likes playing football at weekends.教师可以转换为:He usually plays football at weekends.同时,课堂上我没有大胆让学生去操练,应该给予更多的时间去说英语,运用英语。可以让学生当一名小记者,选择其中四个人物进行采访。然后让另外一位学生进行采访的四位学生的周末活动的复述。这样的小组活动进行的话学生的学习兴趣和积极性会更高总之,多研究教材,多看优质课视频,要不断学习,上好每一节课。
