2.呈现课文插图的四幅照片，要求学生观察图片并思考问题，引出本单元的话题。

Step 2 Presentation

1.利用图片教授目标词汇plastic, coal, oil ,paper,wood,water

2呈现另一组有关原材料应用的图片；

T: We use water to wash clothes/ brush teeth/ cook food.

  We use coal to make electricity.

   We use oil to make gas.

  We use paper to make books.

  We use plastic to make bags/bottles/ toys.

   We use wood to make desks /beds/ boats.

   We use mental to make cars/trains/ships.

3.播放课文动画，整体呈现课文，让学生了解保护地球的四个方面。
