CAI, 彩印图片，单词, 练习纸,“Ticking time” paper,学生自带物品，黑板上的过年装饰画

六、教学过程

课前放歌《Happy New Year!》

Step 1、Warming-up

1. 课前一分钟：四人小组表演Unit 7 Would you like a …?A部分已学内容，表演完后请学生评价：OK./Good./Excellent.

2. T: Let’s start lesson with a guessing game. Please read the words on the screen and guess what holidays they are about.

屏显图片bell, Christams tree, father Christmas—Christmas   

         boys and girls, dog, chocolate—Children’s Day

         red packet, card, red coat—New Year’s Day

3. T: Yes. Today we’ll talk about New Year’s Day. First let’s enjoy a song:Happy New Year!

 T: Boys and girls, Happy New Year! (出示日历)

（课件显示大日历，设置真实新年情境）与单个学生交流，互相祝福Happy New Year!并击掌以示欢庆，并适时表扬Excellent!

   T: Boys and girls, today we’ll learn Unit 8 Happy New Year! Who can read?

   Ss: Unit 8 Happy New Year!

Step 2、Presentation and practice

1. T: Oh, on New Years day ,I have many gifts here.

（给学生送礼物toy car, toy tiger）

     This is for you,S1.

     This is for you,S2.

板书单词for和句型This is for you，学生开火车读。

2.T（拿出小布娃娃的盒子）:Look at the box. This is for you.

      S1：Thank you.（引导学生问） What’s this?（边说边拿出来）

      T: It’s a doll.

      S1: How nice!

      板书单词doll，学生开火车读后小组拼读。

3.T（拿出装有小球的盒子）:Look at this box. It’s for you

      S1：Thank you. （引导学生问）What’s this?

      T: It’s a ball.

      S1: Great!

      板书单词ball，学生开火车读后小组拼读。

4. T（拿出装有机器人的盒子）: Look at that box.

  S3,4,5（引导学生问）: What’s that?

  T(wisper):It’s robot.

  Ss（ask together）:What’s that?

  S5: It’s a robot.

Learning tips 1:

当你离物品较近的时候，我们用What’s this?来提问；

离物品较远的时候，我们可要用What’s that？提问哦！

T: Do you like this robot?

S5: Yes, I do.

T: This robot is for you.

S5: Thank you, Mrs Hua.

板贴单词robot，学生开火车读后小组拼读。

5. Say a chant.

   This, this, what’s this?    That, that, what’s that?

   Ball, ball, it’s a ball.    Robot, Robot, it’s a robot.

   Nice, nice, it’s nice.      Great, great, it’s great.

6. Game: Super plate.

   A: What’s that?

   B: It’s a….

   A: It’s for you.

   B: Thank you.

  T: These gifts are for you. Are you happy?

  Ss: Yes, we are very happy.

   T: If you’re happy, let’s sing and dance. Please stand up and sing the song “Happy New Year!”

   (播放歌曲Happy New Year!)

Ok, the song is finished. Sit down, please.  

Step 3、Presentation and practice

1. T: Today you’re happy, because you’ve got gifts. And Mike’s family has many gifts, too. Let’s go and see. Please watch the cartoon and answer my questions: Who are the gifts from? __C___

2. 学生问题在语篇中查找主要信息，厘清语篇层次。

T: Yes. Now please watch the cartoon again and I have two questions for you.(1)What holiday is coming?(2) Who are the gifts for?

(1)  T: What holiday is coming?

S6: New Year’s Day.

T: Why it is New Year’s Day? What do they say to each other?

S6: Happy New Year, Uncle John!

    Happy New Year.

    学生跟读对话第一部分。

        T: Read the book and circle the gifts, then match the people and gifts.

3. 以小组为单位，选择喜欢的方式朗读。（分角色读、一人一句读、齐读等）

4. 以小组为单位进行对话表演。

Step 4、Consolidation

1.T: Boys and girls ,today Mike and Helen have a New Year’s party. Let’s have a party, OK? Look, what holiday is coming?（屏显圣诞节图片）

 Ss: Christmas.

 T: Yes. Let’s have a Christmas party.

全班四人一组，合作表演对话。请1-2组学生展示。

2.学生四人小组自选情景，表演对话。

情景1：Happy New Year!         情景2：Merry Christmas

情景3：Happy Teachers’ Day!      情景4：Merry Christmas

各小组交流反馈，评比优胜。

3. 主体思想的升华。

T: Boys and girls, we should learn to share your things with love.学会爱，学会分享。

Step5. Homework.

1. Read the text and act it out. (朗读课文并表演。）

2. Make and send a card.

（为即将到来的节日制作一张贺卡并且写上节日祝语,试着用英语来送给自己的朋友或家人。）

T：What holiday is coming? What can we write? Try to send the card to your friends or your family in English.

教学反思：

围绕这些教学目标，同时为了积极响应新教材Ticking time板块，培养学生自我评价和自我检测的能力，我将这个课设计成出示学习目标，完成活动，及时自我评价和检测的任务型教学模式。在一开始就告知学生今天要完成的学习任务，然后通过以下三个活动：我会说新年快乐；我会通过用This is for you来赠送礼物；我知道如何庆祝节日来分版块实现教授本课重点单词和句型，提倡创设新年快乐的这个大情景，通过学生互赠新年祝福，教师赠送礼物，学生互赠礼物等活动来实现。

通过学生Freezing游戏检测第1项学习任务。然后出示各种新年礼物在情境中教授单词。对于重难点单词robot，注意侧重于学生自己的读音归类和发现。通过用学生感兴趣的pass and chant环节巩固新知，同时引入赠送礼物的第2项学习任务。进入课文后，又通过目标不同的三个小任务，让学生理解课文并尝试配音。最后拓展其他节日，让学生选择表演达成第3项学习任务，鼓励学生在情境中运用所学词汇和句型进行交流。同时，我还积极渗透一定的节日礼仪和文化，让学生在学习欣赏的时候，鼓励学生做个有礼貌的人。

本课设计符合新课程理念中的从学生的学习兴趣、生活经验和认知水平出发，强调学生与生活的联系，注重学生思维、情感、行动的整合，把课堂内容与学生的日常生活联系在一起，使课堂充满情趣。而如何能做到基于课本且恰当拓展升华，注意中西方文化的糅合而做到板书再利用，从而提高学生乐于说英语能力，促进思维发散能力以及创新能力的培养，这也是我们教师需要深思的地方。
