6B Revision of Unit 5 ~Unit 7

一、教学内容:
基于本册书教完,因此本节课是一堂典型的复习课。主要的复习内容为6B下半册的重点知识,即Unit5-Unit8的内容。其中特别涉及到季节、气候特征以及信件和一般将来时的一些知识。
二、教学目标:
1、知识目标:主要复习Unit5 、Unit 6 、Unit7,其中包括书信的格式,一般将来时的用法,季节及气候并在此过程中学习新单词:guide, capital, travel, forecast。
2、能力目标:学生能够运用所学知识运用于日常生活中,能从短文中获取必要地信息,鼓励他们从因特网上寻找外国笔友,互写英文信,可以交流一下各自国家或家乡的天气情况。
3、情感目标:培养学生与人交流的多种方式(语言和书信);提高学生在复习阶段学习英语的积极性。
二、教学重难点:
How to write a letter? What can we know from the letter? What can we talk in a letter? Four seasons and the weather feature. How to make a plan. 以及所涉及到的四会句型

四 、教学过程:
Step1.Warming up
1. Sing English songs.
2. Free talk
What’s the date today ?/What’s the weather like today?/What are you going to do this weekend? /What did you do on May Day?
Step2. Revision
1. Magic eyes (Do some revision about the phrases of Unit 5~7)
2. (Show the last picture of the “magic eyes”)
S: A woman/teacher/waitress…
T: She’s my penfriend Jane.
Do you want to know her? Do you have any questions about him?
S : How old is he? What are his hobbies?
Where does he live? What is his favourite subject? …
(Show the letter from Jane and fill in the name card of Jane)
S: Say sth. about according to the form and learn the new words: guide, travel, capital.
3. T: Do you want to be Jane ’ s penfriend? What are you going to tell her?
S: I’m going to tell her about …
T: London is the capital of the UK, and it has an interesting name “foggy city”, so I think Jane will be interesting in the weather of our city, let’s tell her about the weather here, OK?
S: Talk about the weather of each season in Changzhou.(Pair work)
Fill in the blanks.
4. T: In different seasons, we do different things.
Look at the picture and guess what are they going to do.

T: (Show the last picture : Jane is listening to the weather forecast, because she is going to make a plan for next weekend.)
S: Listen and write down the weather next week.

五、教学反思:
教学反思:本节课主要围绕着给Jane写信这条主线,贯穿全课,先是呈现我的笔友Jane,并通过Jane的来信进一步了解Jane,从而打算成为她的笔友,给她写回信,在写信的内容中又聊到当地的天气,再引出天气的复习,再根据不同的天气制定不同的计划,最后一部分的阅读是根据学生学习的进程可以在课内完成也可以作为家庭作业来做。有的老师说,六年级的学生应注重的是成绩,而不是课堂形式。我觉得不然,只有让课堂形式活跃起来,才能让沉闷的学习生活提供一丝乐趣,才能更好的体现牛津小学英语的精神实质。尽管是在复习阶段,我们也可呈现给学生一些轻松但又实用的复习课,让复习课“活”起来。
