5B Unit 9 The English Club

一、教学目标

（一）知识目标

(1)能听懂、会说、会读词汇visit, visitor, club, British, French, city, UK, USA， different,country,New York。

(2) 能正确地运用对话中的日常交际用语I’d like to visit …./Are you from different countries?/ Where are you from? /Do you speak …等及其答语。

(3)能正确地理解、掌握对话内容，并能朗读对话。

（二）能力目标

引导学生积极参与竞猜、表演、对话等丰富多彩的活动，使学生养成动脑、动口的好习惯，启迪思维，培养学生的会话能力。

（三）情感目标

通过The English Club的对话教学，激发学生爱英语、说英语的热情。并在活动中培养学生与朋友团结友爱、和睦相处的感情。模拟参与俱乐部的过程，体验生活，激发生活的热情。

二、教学重点、难点

1、能正确理解、掌握词汇及日常交际用语。

2、能正确理解the same 和different 的含义

3、能正确地理解、掌握对话内容,并能分角色朗读对话。

4、能初步运用日常交际用语进行简单的人物信息交流。

三、教学准备

课件，单词、句子卡，国旗等。

四、教学过程

T:Today，we have new English teachers,they are visitors.What are they doing?After class they are going to visit our beautiful school. (teach “visitor visit ”)

T:Let’s introduce myself or introduce your classmate.

T:Introduce myself 引出“Club” Do you know the club ?

The club is a good place for making new friends. We can make many foreign friends there.

Ｔ： Now，let’s go to the English Club.

一、Know Tony

1、T: We’re going to visit the English Club .We are visitors .

Look, can you read these sentences.(出示Tony的图片)

2、T:Try to ask the visitor some questions.

What’s your name ? How old are you ?

Where are you from ? Where do you live ？

What’s your hobby ? …

3、T：Listen and watch the cartoon then answer

4、出示Tony的信息，teach “ the USA, New York”

二、学习课文(watch the cartoon)

1、Q1:How many children are there in the English Club?

Q2:Who are they?

Q3:Are they from the same country ? （圈出孩子们来自哪个国家？Teach “country different”）

2、Play a game(Read and guess),Know five children

教学反思 :

《英语新课程标准》关于“教学中应注意的问题”部分指出：在教学过程中，要始终体现学生的主体地位，教师应充分发挥学生在学习过程中的主动性和积极性，激发学生的学习兴趣，营造真实自然、积极和谐的学习氛围……。兴趣是最好的老师，是学好英语的关键。在教学中，通过多种渠道寻找方法，激发学生的学习兴趣，培养学生良好的学习习惯，使其打下扎实的英语基础。教师应采用多种多样的形式调动学生、引导学生，让他们真正做到爱学、乐学、博学。

本节课以教师带领学生参加英语俱乐部为主线，由来访者到介绍自己导出课题，环环紧扣，循序渐进。其中，我采用了多种教学方法和教学手段，如对话、表演、竞猜等来激发学生的学习英语的兴趣。在教学中，我给学生一个词，让他们去预设；给学生一些问题，让他们去自学；给他们一个主题，让他们去会话……，充分体现了学生的主体地位。由此，我不由得想到：在课前，老师多花点心思从学生的角度去想问题，去备课，去准备教具会收到事半功倍的教学效果。
