1.通过课文表演与情景模拟,理解并掌握本科日常交际用语。
2.能运用所学句型描述自己娃娃的脸部特征。
情感目标:
通过活动、游戏使学生产生学习英语的兴趣;让学生敢于、乐于开口,积极参与交流。并让学生在学习的过程中,培养他们的合作意识和竞争意识。

这首歌歌词内容和这节课核心内容十分贴近,能起到热身和铺垫作用。

1、通过上面的歌曲引出新单词并教学eyes ears nose mouth hair以及big small long short .
Bobby: What did you hear in the song?
T:领读单词并在黑板上出示
(学生会把已经学会的单词说出来,通过PPT将对应的图片点开,组合成一张娃娃的脸,但是没有头发。)
T: Look. He’s a boy. Is he handsome?
T: OH, I think he needs some hair. Look! He’s handsome now! 由此引出并教学单词hair
T: He’s a boy. And he’s a doll too. 引出本课课题Today we are going to learn Unit 8 Dolls.
2文本背景介绍
 (PPT示课文人物头发,让学生猜测,引出本课主人公苏海、杨玲、刘涛、王冰)
T:Where are they?
T: What are they doing? Let’s see.(PPT出示图片)
处理文本关于男娃娃的部分
(1)(突然听到一阵哭声)
T:What’ s happened?
Bobby:(PPT出示图片内容)Liu Tao and Wang Bing are sad. Their doll is missing. Let’s help them to find it out, OK?
T: Let’s listen and circle. Find the details about the doll.
 
板书出示句型并教读His… is/are… His… is/are…,too. His…and …are…
(2)让学生复述,将图片组合成一个男娃娃。得出Their doll is a boy. 引出Tip:因为是男孩,所以要用his。给出三个词组his eyes, his nose, his pencil, his…
(3)PPT T:Look! He’s a king now.
T: This is their doll. He’s a king now! Is he cool?
T: He’s cool.(板书句型)
(4)跟读此部分课文,注意连读教学
3. 处理女娃娃部分课文
(1) T:Look! Su Hai and Yang Ling is coming. They are going to share their doll.
Bobby: Which one is their doll?(PPT示三个娃娃)
T:You can read and choose.
 
(2)Check。
a. T: We know their doll is a girl. So we should use “her”.给出词组her hair, her nose, her mangoes, her…让学生组词her并练习。
b. 给出单词here,让学生分辨朗读,区分her与here
然后再将here与hair 进行分辨朗读
c. T: Which one is their doll?
T: How do you know that?
(板书出示句型Her…is/are…并教读)
d. T: Look at their doll.
(3)跟读此部分课文,注意连读。
4. 逐句跟读课文,注意语音语调和连读
5. 全班齐读课文

本课时是第八单元的第一课时,教学内容主要是围绕五官hair, eyes, ears, mouth, nose 以及它们的长短大小展开。本课的重点句型His/Her…is /are….让学生利用此句型来描述他人。同时这也是本课的难点。学生在描述他人的时候,hisher的使用不够明确,单复数be动词的运用也不够恰当。
    在教学过程中,我采用复习方式导入。用由一首歌曲引出本课的课题dolls,帮助学生在轻松愉快的氛围中加深对所学单词的印象。在教授单词和句型的时候,我通过介绍girl doll  boy doll来教授单词:moutheyesearsnosebigsmall。并且在教这些单词的时候我设计了缺字母填空,首字母填空,根据其他两个单词(no, blouse)的发音来引导学生拼写新单词nose在课文呈现环节,我设计了watch and answer, listen and circle, listen and fill, read after me, read together, read in four groups, act in four多种形式来处理文本。在巩固环节方面,我设计了一个两个游戏来加强学生对所学单词和句型的理解。
    但是,纵观整堂课,我虽然设计了各种活动进行教学。但是还是存在一些不足的地方。
    在教授单词的时候,缺乏联系之前学过的内容和做相应的拓展。His /her以及句型His/Her….is/are….的教授没有到位。对于hisher的用法我没有进行较好的渗透,学生掌握地不够好,教授的时候缺乏一定的条理性。同时学生对于什么时候该用is什么时候该用are还是比较茫然,在口头表达上经常出错。在以后的课堂中,我应该努力为学生创设贴近他们生活实际的语境,让他们在真实的情境中学到知识,同时要注重教学设计的层次性和条理性,让学生能够主动参与,在乐中学。
